We had the pleasure of having Ben as our photographer for our wedding at Gosfield Hall in February. Not only was he the most reasonable priced out of all the photographers we researched, he also had the most impressive portfolio of our chosen venue. We had a meeting with Ben before the big day which was immensely helpful. We got to know each other and went through the running order of the day and the key photographic moments. Leaving this meeting, we felt very calm and simply knew we were in safe hands. On the day itself, Ben managed to capture all the special moments we had hoped for – and more! He was also a real asset to have in the morning as we were preparing for the ceremony. Our guests loved him and he received so many lovely comments. The photos arrived incredibly quickly and they are something we really cherish. We cannot recommend Ben and Lavenham Photographic enough. If we could do it all again, Ben would be the first phone call to make to secure the booking!

I would highly recommend Ben @ Lavenham photographic. Not only was he by far the most reasonably priced photographer of about 10-15 I spoke with, but he was also knowledgeable about the venue and church, knew all the best spots and had some great ideas. We wanted someone relaxed and who would fit right in with our guests, and he was exactly that. I also liked the fact he didn’t drag us away for hours but followed what we wanted, managed to still get some great shots (and of the guests too) but let us enjoy the day and spend maximum amount of time with everyone. He was incredibly relaxed when he arrived in the morning and also really flexible to our needs. Overall would highly highly recommend and would use him again if we ever needed to! We used Ben after a number of my now Husbands family had him at their weddings, he is amazing. Such a fantastic photographer, he fully embraces the way you would like your wedding to be, for us we had a very relaxed wedding without 100’s of group photos and he was great at getting everything we want and more, a year and a bit later my wedding photos still bring me so much joy.I would highly recommend Ben to anyone who wanted to have beautiful photos, you cannot go back and do them again, I have had so many friends disappointed by their photographers, and it is heartbreaking.Ben has now done 4 of the family weddings and I am sure will be at anymore that come up. His pricing was very clear and we got everything we expected and more, beautiful wooden USB stick which we treasure.

We were delighted to have hired Ben as our photographer for our wedding on the 22nd September.Ben from the very beginning was very clear and helpful with regards to communication and explaining all of his packages to us. It’s clear from his online body of work that he is a highly skilled and professional photographer. Even in our case, where he hasn’t worked at the venue where we got married, he was able to use his experience and good eye for detail, to determine where and what would make a good photograph. On top of his talent, he interacted very well with our guests and made everyone feel at ease.A lot of our guests have compliment Ben and the work that he has done. Ben’s turnaround time for getting us our photos were very quick. He printed some top quality wedding thank you cards and put all out photos on a carved wooden USB, which came in a personalized box with our names and wedding date on it. We also got our very own wedding brochure too. Thank you for playing such a big part in capturing our day and for allowing us to remember the best day of our lives forever.Would not think twice in recommending you to anyone I know who is getting married.

Alex and I were so grateful to Ben for his fabulous work at our wedding on 10th February. I had contacted him early-doors to say that though we wanted photos, I (in particular) wasn’t a fan of having photos taken and had only liked about two pictures of myself ever. We also gave him quite a limited list of ‘formal’ photos that we wanted. Ben absolutely delivered. All the ‘constructs’ were quickly and comfortably negotiated, the pictures from the church were fab (and I had no idea he was there!) and he captured nearly every guest looking awesome. I can safely say that we are super-happy with the 600 odd photos that came through the edit – they really capture our special day. On an additional, and perhaps minor, note, I really appreciated that Ben was smartly dressed – it sounds daft, but I always find it disappointing when a talented but scruffy looking photographer is mingling at a lovely wedding do – Ben was not this at all! Ben is absolutely first class, he won’t just snap his quota and leave he’s 110% interested in getting the best shots he can. We got married at Leez Priory yesterday and we were in awe of how passionate Ben is at his job, I told him I couldn’t remember what we paid, but I would pay it again and more! I can not thank Ben enough for helping make our wedding day perfect! Even our wedding guests commented on how lovely Ben was (along with commenting on how unobtrusive he was when photographing.) For me, he created photos that would never of happened for me with any other photographer. I think I can honestly say that he made everyone feel relaxed and comfortable, yet somehow pulled off being assertive (enough to make things happen!) Our wedding wasn’t exactly standard and I am ever so grateful to Ben for accepting ‘different’ with open arms. Thank you for all you did for us on our special day. A month ago we celebrated our special day at Gosfield Hall with Ben as our photographer. From the day we met Ben at the venue’s open day, he was helpful and friendly and we are so pleased with the beautiful photos that we have received. Ben was fantastic on the day itself from being punctual to blending in with our friends and family and putting ourselves and our guests at ease. Not only does he know the venue really well but he makes an excellent additional bridesmaid for helping lay out your dress for photographs! I hadn’t realised quite how much time you spend with your photographer on the day and we genuinely enjoyed his company and could not be more pleased with the photos. We received a beautifully presented USB stick with all of the rights to our photographs which makes a great keepsake, as well as a lovely book of the images to show friends and family. This is in addition to all guests being able to view and order the photos online if they wish to. We really couldn’t have asked for a better service and would highly recommend! Thank you Ben! We booked Ben to shoot photos across the day of our wedding. From the very first contact he was polite, professional and helpful. Ben photographed our wedding at Gosfield Hall and we would thoroughly recommend him. He was brilliant throughout – from the first time we contacted him, through the discussions beforehand, to the photos on the day and the creation of the albums, he was excellent. Ben photographed our wedding at Gosfield Hall and we would thoroughly recommend him. He was brilliant throughout – from the first time we contacted him, through the discussions beforehand, to the photos on the day and the creation of the albums, he was excellent. We ended up with a disc of nearly 700 photos and a fantastically put together album. He made posing for the photographs on the day easy and relaxed (including for our 7 young bridesmaids!) and took some wonderful photos which tell the story of the day really well. Absolutely excellent photographer. We were worried about the photos part of our wedding day but Ben was really lovely, obviously fantastic at what he does and made everyone including us feel very comfortable. We cannot wait to see the rest of the photos! Thank you Ben!!!

Ben covered our wedding for us in September 2014 @ the Swan in Lavenham. From the initial meeting with him Ben was extremely professional and made us both feel at ease and relaxed. During the hour or so pre wedding, the actual service and afterwards Ben captured all the photos we wanted and more ! He blended in with guests and managed to guide everyone into place without seeming to try. The resulting album is fantastic and well worth the money.

Ben was the photographer at our wedding in September 2010. Neither of us are very confident about having our photo taken and he put us at ease and took some great pictures.
