Leez Priory is a Tudor-era mansion located in the English countryside, and it’s one of the most picturesque wedding venues around. It’s the perfect setting for a classic English wedding, and Chloe and Stefan’s celebration certainly lived up to that standard.
The day began with photos of both Chloe and Stefan’s preparations. As Chloe got her hair and makeup done, I took the opportunity to capture some candid shots of her and her bridesmaids, capturing their excitement and anticipation for the day ahead, and Stefan with his groomsmen getting each other dressed, as well as greeting guests in the build-up to the ceremony.
The outdoor ceremony was held in front of the dramatic backdrop of Leez Priory’s iconic tower. The lighting was perfect for photography and video, bright, but diffused. It was the perfect weather for an outdoor wedding, and Chloe and Stefan looked so happy and in love as they exchanged their vows.
After the ceremony, I firstly like to leave the newlyweds a little time with guests, to be greeting and congratulated, and only after they’ve spent time with guests do I gather some group photos with the couple’s close families and wedding party. Then, we took a walk around the grounds to take some portraits, in many of my favourite spots. Chloe and Stefan were a joy to photograph. It’s my job to make my clients comfortable in front of the camera, and this always shows in comfortable, relaxed and natural photographs. Their love for each other was so evident in every shot.
Photographing Chloe and Stefan’s wedding at Leez Priory was an absolute joy. The setting was stunning, the couple was amazing, and the entire day was filled with love and happiness. As a photographer, it’s always an honour to be a part of such a special occasion, and I’m grateful to have been able to capture these precious memories for Chloe and Stefan to cherish for a lifetime.
