Essex Wedding Photography, Church Ceremony in Ingatestone.

Ella & Jack’s Essex Wedding photography was a church wedding ceremony in Ingatestone, Essex , moving to the Bull & Willow Room in Great Totham to photograph their reception and into the evening.

The church gave me some great wedding photography as guests gathered for the ceremony. I try to find nice ways to frame photographs. Despite most of the backdrops available to me being a carpark and busy road, I was sure to keep the photos facing towards the red brick of the church. I found the branches of a tree to frame and soften the edges of photographs. I found plenty of opportunity to take more casual wedding photography as guests arrived at church and greeted Jack before the wedding ceremony.

The priest was fantastic and welcoming! He invited me to use the side door during the wedding ceremony to move between the front of the church, and the back. During a church wedding I prefer to photograph as discretely as possible, so chose to only move once during the service. This meant I could photograph the wedding ceremony from two positions, and to ensure I photograph the readers.

Wedding Reception at The Bull & Willow Room, Essex

Straight after the church service we all moved swiftly to the reception, held in the Willow Room, at the very smart Bull Inn in Great Totham in Essex. What followed here was a photoshoot in the grounds, some posed photos and some casual, strolling shots.

Light rain started, but a good selection of photographs were taken before moving inside the venue. Here Ella & Jack spent time mingling with their guests. This of course makes for great photos as guests chat and mingle
